LG announces a near-borderless TV and I see a chick next to one in this display. I just don’t get it, that woman is a distraction and annoying as fuck. Are they saying that if you buy this TV you’ll come out to be just as sexy as the hot chick? Do I get the girl bundled along with my new sexy TV? Are you comparing the chick with the TV? Is one sexier than the other? Are they both just as sexy? Does one compliment the other? What the fuck is going on with this chick?
If you need to have a hot chick standing beside your product, your product will most likely suck. If your product is truly awesome and sexy, it should be able to stand on its own, without a woman dressed in a short red skirt that has a zipper running down the entire length. Why doesn’t Apple do this with their iPods and Macs? You don’t see women dressed in skintight clothing showing off their newest Cinema Display. Why? Because they don’t need to, the display speaks for itself.
Just taking it out on LG because I saw this first. There are a ton of other companies who do this and I have never bought a product from any of them.
